What's New in Season 1
Season 1 of Dragon Quest Scan Battlers is packed full of exciting new features! High Priest Hargon and Malroth, who first appeared in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line, have been added as bosses and await your challenge! You can also now access the Dragon Derby, which features its own special monster, and the Make Mincemeat of Malroth challenge, where for a limited time you can take on Malroth in Score Attack! There's all sorts of fun waiting for you in Dragon Quest Scan Battlers Season 1, so play to your heart's content!

Take on the Dragon Derby and Add the Powerful Monster Green Dragon to Your Collection!
For a limited time, you can fight against the special monster Green Dragon in the Dragon Derby! Green Dragon is a powerful foe with access to two breath attacks that target all enemies: Flame Breath and Dragon's Breath. Yet if you challenge it in battle, it may just join you!
Green Dragon's monster level is an astonishing 98! Adding a powerful monster like this to your team would definitely provide you with a reliable ally in battle. Be sure to challenge it while the Dragon Derby is available!
Take on Malroth in Score Attack!
For a limited time, you can take on Malroth, the boss of Season 1, in Score Attack! In Score Attack, you earn a final score based on the damage you deal in battle, how well you time your button presses, the speed of your inputs, and more. There are lots of ways to improve your score, including pressing buttons with Amazing! timing, ending a fight in as few Turns as possible, and more!
Also, the first Card you print after playing Score Attack will have your name and your score printed on it so you can always see how well you did.
It's the perfect opportunity to show off the skills you've honed through constant practice! When you're ready, bring your best team and try to set a new record!

Obtain the Legendary Erdrick's Equipment!
Included in the Equipment added in Season 1 is one set in particular that's rumored to have been worn by the legendary hero Erdrick, the savior of the world! Erdrick's Sword lets you use the ultra-powerful Gigaslash, Dragon Slash, and Zapple! What's more, Erdrick's Shield has a Massive Block Rate! Finally, Erdrick's Armour will greatly increase your HP and Resilience. Collect this legendary equipment and see its effects for yourself!
